Cramer said on Monday that investors should only buy oil names.
The same old buy the dips game plan is what I want to tell you. The only dip that can be purchased right now is oil. The host of the show said that everything else is transactional and nothing more.
Cramer said that he was wary of nonoil names because of recent stock disappointments. He expects Apple analysts to take a dimmer view of the stock if the Worldwide Developers Conference doesn't impress the "raging bears."
There is a good chance that stock prices will go up by midday.
Cramer said that the public feud between Musk and the social network was another source of disappointment in the market.
Even when the sellers come in, the buyers come back and keep the stock afloat, making those stocks stand out from the rest of the market.
He said the lesson was simple: just get long on some oil stock.
Cramer's Charitable Trust has shares of both Apple and Advanced Micro Devices.
