Google Pixel 6 Pro getting an Android update

  • Google has released the June 2022 update for the Pixel 4 and up.
  • The update features a number of bug fixes based on the device in addition to the latest security patch.
  • Android 12L QPR3 has been released alongside the June update.
  • The OTA update is rolling out now and over the next few weeks depending on carrier and device.

The first Monday of the month is when a new update will be released. The latest security patch and a bunch of bug fixes are included in the June 22nd feature drop.

The included bug fixes will be different on the device.

Problems with Gboard not appearing in certain apps, missing notifications for incoming calls, the camera app not displaying or launching properly in certain conditions, and variousUI bugs will be addressed in the upcoming fixes.

The update should improve the battery life of the phone if you own it. It fixes a bug that causes the app to crash, as well as fixes various issues with the display.

Most of the supported devices are being updated to software version SQ3A.220605.009.A1, with the exception of the global variant of thePixel 6 series. This build comes with stable Android 12L3 QPR, which allows users to vibrate mode indicator in the status bar and move the battery icon to make it easier to find.

It will take a few weeks for everyone to be able to use the product, although it has begun. You can check for the update by visiting the settings.

The June 2022 update is not the first one to be issued by the company. The latest security patch has begun to be applied to the best of the best.
