Harry andMeghan chose a private jet over American airlines.
American Airlines First Class wasn't good enough for Prince Harry and his wife. The Duke and the duchess flew on a private jet back to Santa Barbara, California after leaving the Jubilee festivities early.
When Prince Harry traveled from Los Angeles to London to attend his grandfather's funeral, he chose to fly American Airlines first class over British Airways or Virgin Atlantic. It was the second time in a row that American Airlines went over a British carrier. At the time, we joked that he probably flew on American Airlines because he wanted to be left alone onboard and the flight attendants were happy to oblige.

On the final day of the four-day bank holiday in celebration of Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee, Harry andMeghan traveled from Frogmore Cottage in Windsor to a small airport west of London.
The Santa Barbara Municipal Airport is seven miles west of downtown Santa Barbara and is close to their home in Montecito.
The plane the Royals traveled on has a list price of $6.5 million and has 12 seats. The journey to California takes about the same amount of time as a commercial jet plane.
It is not clear if Harry owns or rents the jet, but they have been seen on it before.
I don't have any bad feelings towards the Prince for flying his family private. When traveling with young children, it makes things simpler. It makes his choice to fly commercial when traveling alone all the more admirable because he doesn't have to.
