The new software will allow users to create custom lock screens for different scenarios, such as a screen for work that shows a preview of a calendar, or a personal screen that shows exercise activity data.
The new software features, part of Apple's new operating system for the iPhone, were similar to those that were introduced for theANDROID system in 2020. Material You allows users to change the look of their lock screens by changing their home screen wallpaper.
Apple said it was changing its messaging system to allow people to recall and modify text after it has been sent. A new way to compose messages is to switch between typing and voice commands.
Safety Check is a feature that will allow users of the app to share personal data with others to escape an abusive relationship.
Apple invited guests to its campus for a major event for the first time in a long time. In light of rising Covid-19 cases in the Bay Area, the company set up screens and chairs outside of the cafeteria. Developers, journalists, and retail employees are a group that Apple is eager to improve relations with.
