iPhone will soon let you edit and unsend iMessages

Apple is going to have an editing feature.

There will be options to unsend and edit texts in the next software update for the phone. There will be an option to mark threads as unread in order to come back to them later.

After 30 days, the options will be available.

In March 2020, MacRumors reported that Apple was working on a way to allow you to remove messages from your phone. If a message is deleted, the sender and recipient will be notified.

Features of other messaging services include editing and deletion.

Users can unsend emails for a few seconds after they send them. Users of the workplace messaging app can only have their messages edited and deleted for a short period of time.

Over the years, the feature of an edit button has become an inside joke for users of the social network. The company made a joke about an edit button in April. The feature is likely to debut on the paid service in a few months, according to the company.

Apple didn't say when the update would be released.
