Apple’s CarPlay is going beyond the infotainment screen

A deep integration with the vehicle itself and a complete refresh of CarPlay were announced by Apple. Users will be able to change what they see on the instrument panel with a very Apple look.

Users can add trip info, control climate in the car, see the weather, view updated navigation information, and more. It has an all new interface that is similar to having an iPad on the center screen.

There will be more announcements next year. Apple has been working on an electric car, but the company has been hit with setbacks. It is the closest we have seen to an Apple Car.

Ford, Jaguar-Land Rover, Nissan, Volvo, Polestar, and more are among the manufacturers that are looking into the next generation of CarPlay. Almost all new cars have Apple's CarPlay feature, and more than 80% of users consider it before buying a car.
