You don't have to enter passwords every time you check the password manager because you don't have to. The company claims that it is the first password manager with passwordless sign-in. If you grant permission through the mobile app, you can update account info on the web without entering your master password.
Password-free technology is used in the approach. Personal and business users are able to use the feature. Beyond the Authenticator app, LastPass is promising other options, such as using a hardware security key.
It might seem odd to use a phone app to check passwords on your PC, but LastPass already takes care of some headaches through its browser extension. This will make it easier for password managers. It might convince you to use a stronger password for your vault because you won't have to type it in.
