Point is out for the fourth game of the Eastern Conference finals.

Point left the game after 5:51 of ice time with a lower-body injury. There were two goals and two assists for him. Point's 31 goals rank second among all NHL players over the last three playoffs, and his two-way play at center was crucial to the Lightning's back-to-back Stanley Cup wins.

Point was on the ice for around an hour before the third game of the series. An optional skate was held on Monday morning.

Cooper said that he was out for the fourth game.

Cooper has warned against expectations being too high about Point's possible return in the playoffs.

Pointer is playing a sport. He said on June 1 that they don't know if it's this season, next season or this round. Is he getting better every day? I agree. It's too early to say if he's going to be able to play. The worst of it is over for him now.

New York's conference final lead was cut to 2-1 after the Bolts defeated the Rangers on Sunday night. The fourth and final game of the series is set for Tuesday night.
