Cecelia Marie Halpert is the first child to be born to Jim and Pam.
"The Delivery" is the sixth episode of the Office Ladies show, and the co- hosts talked about it. Lee Kirk and his sister, Emily, were invited to the show. They explained why the name "Cece" was chosen for the baby.
The baby is named after my niece.

My sister gave birth to her first child the same week that we were filming. "It was so crazy that I couldn't believe it." My parents would joke that they had one kid doing it for real and one kid pretending all at the same time. My sister told me what their daughter would be named. I asked the writers if we could name the baby after my niece and they agreed.
I remember sitting at home that night that the episode aired, and I just kept watching the clock.
She kept it a secret until the episode aired. She kept her family in the dark. The show's fans found out the baby's name live.
"I remember sitting at home and watching the show, but I didn't pay much attention to the time," he said. It was my sister who rang my phone after it went live. She was yelling into the phone.
Emily was asked to record her reaction to the Cece reveal by her sister. She said what she had to say.
Pam and Jim had a baby on the show. I wondered what the baby's name would be. Emily said that they had an agreement since the show started that she wouldn't give her any information about what was happening on the show. We had an agreement from the day that the show began.
It took Emily a few seconds to register her baby with her, but once it did, she was overjoyed.
When we were watching The Office, I was so excited to watch it. I'm wondering what it will be. Jim walked out and he said "Cecelia Marie Halpert." I was so happy. I was shocked. Oh my gosh, I can't believe it! Our daughter's name is that. Oh my gosh, I can't believe it! They might have named the baby after Cecilia Marie. I called my sister immediately. I was waiting a second. She started laughing and asked if it was okay that we did that. Emily said she remembered.
And I was like, 'Oh my God! Oh my gosh! That's our daughter's name! Oh my gosh! Did they name the baby after our Cecilia Marie?'
I was so sad. I was like, "Oh, my gosh, that's so cool!" After that episode, all the articles came out about how the Cece was named after my Cece. We saved them all. She said they were put in her daughter's book. I remember people asking me if I watched The Office after that. Pam and Jim had a baby. Setting people straight is something I like to do. I apologized. The baby was named after my baby. It was always enjoyable to do that after the show aired.
There will be a link between Cecelia Marie and The Office for the rest of time. The baby was named after her.
Cece Halpert is my niece. "When we go out together and I'm calling her Cece and people see us together, it's like a mind bender for them," he said. I didn't pay attention to that part.
Pam has a baby photo on her desk for the rest of the series.
Kinsey said that it's so sweet.
It's a special thing in our family. There's another thing that's hilarious. In real life, Cece's father is named Dwight. Her grandpa is named Jim.
Kinsey said it was craziness.
We have created something for that family. That's right, so. That's right.
