Kyle Rittenhouse said on the "Charlie Kirk Show" that he would be going to Texas A&M University in the fall.

"I'm going to be going there, and it's going to be great," Rittenhouse said after wearing a baseball cap with the university's logo on it. The campus is beautiful and the people are amazing.

The university official told the Dallas Morning News that Rittenhouse wouldn't be in attendance.

He hasn't been admitted to Texas A&M this summer or fall.

After taking online classes at Arizona State University, Rittenhouse dropped them during the trial and wanted to return to them. The students demanded that he be kicked out of the university after being acquitted of murder charges.

Insider was told that Rittenhouse had left the university.

Two people were killed when Rittenhouse opened fire during a protest in Wisconsin in 2020. He claimed in court that he shot the three people because they were threatening to kill him.

Rittenhouse was found not guilty of five counts.

Rittenhouse said he wanted to file lawsuits against media outlets and President Joe Biden for defaming him.

Texas A&M did not respond to the request for comment.
