Kevin Cash said after Sunday's game that he doesn't think it will affect the locker room because discussions among the players have been constructive.

"First and foremost, I think the organization has done a good thing to have Pride Nights supporting our gay community to come out and have a nice night at the ballpark." We want to support our players that choose to wear or not wear to the best of our capabilities, because we were impressed that our players have had those conversions.

The players who decided to remove the logos were pitchers Jeffrey Springs and Ryan Thompson. Adam spoke for the group after the game and said it was a "faith-based decision" for many of them.

Adam said it was a hard decision. We all wanted them to know that all are welcome here. When we put it on our bodies, I think a lot of guys decided that it's just a lifestyle and we don't want to encourage it if we believe in Jesus.

Is that correct? It isn't judgmental. Not looking down is what it is. We believe the lifestyle he's encouraged us to live is what we need to live. We love these men and women and we want them to feel safe here.
