The original bassist for Bon Jovi has passed away. Jon wrote that he was an original. Alec was one of the founding members of Bon Jovi. He says that Alec was largely responsible for Bon Jovi coming together in the first place, because he introduced everyone and was friends with Tico and Richie. The memories bring a smile to his face and tears to his eye. There were no details about what happened to him. Alec was with Bon Jovi from 1983 to 1994 and played a part in their heyday. "You Give Love a Bad Name," "Wanted Dead or Alive," and "Bad Medicine" are some of the hits he contributed to. Such rejoined the band for their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony after leaving in the 90's. The man was 70 years old. I am sad.
