No Lifetime Language offers are offered on the Business Gold and Business Platinum. I just finished the spend on the consumer Gold referral offer and am now targeting each card.
Even though my wife got an NLL Gold in March and is currently working on the spend for the Business Platinum offer, she was still targeted for both. We've never had a hard time with these offers.
The Business Gold expires on 9/30, while the Business Platinum expires on 7-31. If you are targeted, there is time to finish off any other spend that you are working on. These are the best Business Platinum and Business Gold offers if you can afford them.
I'm gobsmacked by the regularity of these offers. I think we will reach the end of the Membership rewards road, but they just keep on coming.

| The Business Platinum Card® from American Express There have been some amazing offers. Some people got a mailer for 250K points after spending $30K in elgibile in the first six months. Some people are targeted for an online offer of 160K total points, 150K after 15K spend in the first 3 months, and 10K when you add an employee card at the time of application and spend $1K on the employee card in the first 3 months. Do you know if you are targeted here? There is a recent better offer of 150K after 20K spend. The card is loaded with perks. Those perks might be worth more than the annual fee. The Amex pay over time card has a card type. 1.5X points per dollar on eligible purchases of $5,000 or more, 1.5x on US construction/hardware stores, 1.5x on US electronic goods, and 1.5x on US shipping are included. Up to $400 a year in statement credits for Dell purchases, and up to $120 a year in wireless service credits. You have to enroll for certain benefits. Amex Platinum Guide is another one. |

| American Express® Business Gold Card If you add an employee card at the time of application and they spend $1,000 in the first 3 months, you can get an alternate offer of up to 100K points. If you check here, you can see if you're being targeted. 70K points + up to $300 in statement credits: 70K points after $10K spend in 3 months, and up to $150 in statement credits for US shipping purchases. It expired on 4/7/21. The card is expensive and has few perks. If you use at least one or two 4X categories, keep. The Amex pay over time card has a card type. You can earn 4X on the two categories where your business spends the most each billing cycle. 4X applies to the first $150,000 in combined purchases, 1X point per dollar thereafter and on other purchases. The terms are applicable. After you pay with points for flights with your chosen airline, you will get 25% points back. The rates and fees are applied. |
Even without the authorized user card, the targeted offer is a huge improvement over the current best.
If you only pay the annual fee, you can get 3x Dell credits and 2x airline flights in the first year. The various perks and credits on Amex cards can feel a littlecoupon booky, but I find it easy to get full advantage of these two and the wireless service credit as well.
The Business Platinum offer will be around 2500 based on our RRV, whereas the Business Gold will be around 1500, both great returns. Oh wowza.
