According to ABC Spain, the former Secretary of State has been summoned by a Spanish court to explain an alleged US government plot to kill the founder of the whistle blower website.
Yahoo News reported in September that senior CIA and Trump administration officials discussed the possibility of kidnapping or killing the founder of the website.
The discussions took place at the highest levels of the Trump administration, according to a former senior counter intelligence official.
Sources close to the case told ABC Spain that the US Secretary of State has been summoned to appear in a Spanish court.
