As Halloween creeps around the corner, Nike has given its Air Max 98 a color scheme fit for a comfortable and on-trend option. "Chrome Yellow" and "Bright Crimson" details clash against black on the latest edition of the sneakers, conjuring up thoughts of sugary candy corn and fall.

The upper features black overlays and white underlays, while the signature striped design switches between black and orange stitches. Yellow seeps its way through onto the toe cap and "AIR" logos, then returns for a final hit on the outsole. The shoe's trademark Air-Sole unit finishes off the kicks with a classic gum rubber edition.

Priced at $160 USD, the Air Max 98 "Black/White/Chrome Yellow/Bright Crimson" is available now at Nike's webstore.

This isn't the only on-theme take that the brand has employed as of late. It recently released a pair of Air VaporMax Plus sneakers featuring a Raptors-like colorway right in time for the NBA season.
