The State of Play event gave us the biggest piece of Final Fantasy XVI news to date. We can start building an idea of what this game is about and what we can expect after Square Enix released a new trailer and updated the official Final Fantasy website.
Final Fantasy XII isn't the 16th entry in the series or the 16th single-player mainline entry. There are more than one million Final Fantasy games. Noctis and his bro-dtrip are the ones that come after this one.
The final fantasy takes place in Valisthea. The mothercrystals in Valisthea give people the power to use magick in their daily lives. The crystals are a major source of power and conflict in Valisthea.
The dominants are people who were born with the ability to summon and control Eikons. At the end of the newest trailer, there is a song that reminds you who all the Eikons are.
Clive Rosefield is a man who walks weapons of mass destruction. He is the oldest son of the Archduke ofRosaria and has the same kind of energy as a main character in Final Fantasy. He is a sad looking boy who can swing a sword. He was supposed to inherit the power of the Eikon of fire, Phoenix, but it went to his brother Joshua.
The Clive we meet in the Dominance trailer is more sad than the Clive we met in the first Awakenings trailer. We can see Clive punching his enemies in one of the trailers. We know that Dominants can share some of their powers with other people. The fact that Clive can rock punch people tells us that he's hooked up with the Eikon of earth. Benedikta Harman is the dominant of the wind. I don't know if these Dominants are party members or boss fights.
Only one element can be represented by an Eikon at a time based on what I have seen from the trailers. I guess, and so forth and so on, and so forth and so on, and so forth and so on, and so forth and so on, and so forth and so on, and so forth and so on, and so forth and so on, and so forth and so on Something happens to Joshua that causes him to become possessed by another Eikon of fire, Ifrit. The FFXVI logo supports the idea that Joshua has two Eikons in the same body. Clive is trying to figure out how to free his brother from the warring Eikons while the other nations try to control him as a weapon.
We have to look at who is leading the team in order to figure out what we are going to see with this game. The HPIC is the head producer in charge. The guy who led the resurrection of the rotting corpse of Final Fantasy XIV 1.0 after its disastrous initial launch is new to this area. Whatever FFXVI will be, it's going to be exceptional.
The combat systems for Devil May Cry 5 and the Dragon's Dogma series were designed by Suzuki. Natsuko Ishikawa wasn't in charge of the game's story, so I was a little disappointed. Almost every Final Fantasy XIV player looks like they have been run over by an emotional steamroller and will burst into tears whenever someone breathes "remember" too softly, because Ishikawa wrote both Shadowbringers and Endwalker expansions. The Heavensward expansion is one of the most perfect Final Fantasy experiences in the game's 35-year history. You will be in your feelings for Final Fantasy XVI.
The composer Masayoshi Soken is the final developer. I used to think Nobuo Uematsu was the best Final Fantasy music. Soken proves there is something special going on at the music department. Soken wrote the music for the expansions. " Heavensward", " Wayward Daughte r", " Shadowbringers", " Footfalls", and " Flow" were all bangers. During the FFXIV Digital Fan Fest last year, Soken revealed that he was undergoing treatment for cancer and that it helped him conquer it.
The presence of Soken and the others on FFXVI gives me hope that this game will be one of the greats, right up there with V, VII, IX, and XII. There is still much work to be done. The game can be played from start to finish, but the team still has a lot of work to do.
He said before the FFXVI trailer presentation that they would focus on what they do best. We might be able to bring a little happiness to these hard times by providing people with entertainment.
