The most important meeting in Star Wars history has never been seen by the public. During the time between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, Ahsoka Tano andLuke Skywalker were friends. Nobody knows how the Force wielders met. Dave Filoni does, but he isn't saying.
In the original trilogy,luke is not clued up There is so much he doesn't know from when he first met us. He learns a lot, like who his father and sister are, but what his father was like, the history of the Jedi, more about his mentors Yoda and Obi-Wan, there's really no way for him to get that information.
The revelation that Ahsoka Tano was still alive after Return of the Jedi changed that. Ahsoka was Anakin's Padawan during The Clone Wars, which means she knew a lot about his dad, his friends, and the Jedi Order. For the first time, Ahsoka andLuke appeared on screen together in The Book of Boba Fett. The pair didn't geek out over each other. They already knew each other and talked about Grogu. Will you see me again? She asked if it was possible.

The Ashoka show is the most obvious place to go. Ahsoka meeting the son of her former Padawan would be a huge character building moment in the show. It's also for Ahsoka too. The two fought when they saw each other. It would bring her peace and happiness if she found out that he was a member of the Force.
If he can chat with Ahsoka, then it's worth the cost. A book is my ideal situation and one that is worth floating out there. The whole book is about them meeting. They can be sent on an adventure, they can sit in a room and have a fascinating conversation, and it's all canon. You don't have to worry about fitting it into the structure of a show.
