  • Samsung has been rumored to have a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro in development.
  • The device has seemingly been confirmed in a beta version of the Samsung Health app.
  • There is also no "Classic" model shown, suggesting that Samsung is dropping the physical rotating bezel.

A listing in one of the company's apps may have given us a glimpse into the upcoming watch. The new list of supported devices for the health app shows the rumored watch 5 pro, all but confirmation of its existence.

The list was spotted by 9to5Google. The small thumbnail that appears to be the same as the GALAXY WATCH 4 series is among them. The actual devices in the lead-up to the likely launch later this year are likely to be the ones shown in the thumbnail.

It's interesting that both watches use the same image, which appears to be the same as the one on the GALAXY WATCH 4. The image corroborates the rumors that the "Classic" line would soon be replaced by the physical rotating bezel.

Many of the best Wear OS watches will be put to shame by the larger battery in the next iteration of theGalaxy Watch. It's a good sign that it's close to the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra, which can last a few days on a single charge.

We may not have to wait long before the new watch series is released. We can expect an announcement in August if last year's launch is any indication. Until then, users can get a taste of what's to come with the new OneUI watch. The keyboard, notifications, and more are included in the alpha.
