President Joe Biden made a joke about Musk's trip to the moon when he was asked about Musk's pessimistic attitude towards the economy. There is one small hitch. The funding for the return of people to the moon comes from the Biden administration.

During a press conference at the White House, Biden was asked about Musk. The reporter wanted to know what Biden would say to the CEO of the two companies. According to an email he wrote to the executives of the company, the question was about Musk's "super bad feeling" regarding the economy.

The Biden administration should definitely hope SpaceX has good luck

Before making his Moon comment, Biden listed companies that are making investments in the US. NASA is attempting to send the first woman and the first person of color to the moon in a key part of the Artemis mission. One of the few programs to survive the transition of power was Artemis. The next- generation rocket, called Starship, was selected by NASA to be used as a lunar landers for Artemis. The agency awarded the company $2.9 billion to turn Starship into a vehicle that can transport humans to and from the lunar surface, and as of now, the plan is for the first Artemis landing to take place in the year 2025.

The Biden administration should hope that the Moon trip is a success because it is part of NASA's flagship human spaceflight program. It is possible that Biden's comment was genuine. Musk has responded in any case.

There are precedents of presidents making space gaffes. The Artemis program that the administration started was not comprehended by the president. It is something that the general public doesn't keep a close eye on. The NASA program named for this sister of Apollo looks to land a woman and a man on the moon by 2024, was the clue given to contestants during a recent episode of the game show. The contestants didn't know the answer.
