It's well, well. There were rumors that the Classic model would not be included in the next iteration of the watch. The app doesn't show the Classic for the two watches.
The gaffe was first spotted by 9to5 and later confirmed by The Verge. The preview image shows the Pro will be similar to the watch. It's sleek and sporty without the mechanical watch vibe. It appears that the concept of a physical rotation of the phone's screen is no longer being considered by the company. I don't think that is a good idea. The Galaxy Watch 4's battery drain appears to be worsened by the software in the early stages of development. There are issues that can potentially be fixed before the final version of the software is released.
If you don't see a physical bezel, that doesn't mean you won't be able to use the GALAXY WATCH 4 and GALAXY WATCH 2. It's impossible to see from pictures alone. The physical bezel was more satisfying in my tests. It's more difficult. Since it is a major feature that sets its watches apart from the herd, it is likely that it would stay.
The Wear OS 3 era is about to see another significant change in the lineup of the GALAXY WATCH. According to rumors, the Pro will have a huge 572mAh battery that will help the watch's battery life.
The pro trend has been going on for a long time. Even if the only difference is that the Pro model has better battery life, Wearable makers still love to offer it. This was done with the HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 PRO. It was done with the Grit X series by Polar and the Fenix 6 series by Garmin. They have done it with their watches.
The company is not afraid to change its name frequently. The GALAXY WATCH 3 was the successor to the GALAXY WATCH, which became the GALAXY WATCH 4 CLASSIC. TheGalaxy Watch Active was replaced by theGalaxy Watch Active 2 within six months. The design was re-christened the GALAXY WATCH 4. This may clear things up in the long run because there is no cohesive logic to it.
Perhaps the physical rotating bezel was something reviewers loved more than consumers
It's no secret that the best watch for a phone is the one made by South Korea's SAMSUNG. Improving battery life might be enough to keep it's edge. Reviewers liked the physical rotating bezel more than consumers. It makes sense for the company to go the Pro route, but we won't know for sure until the new watches are released. Sometime in August is when that happens. I won't pour one out for the Classic until then.
