  • The leaning of the Tower of Pisa is four times greater than the building's incline.

  • The farthest leaning building in the world is owned by Capital Gate.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa is visited by millions of people every year. The Leaning Tower of Pisa isn't the most extreme building in the world.

The Capital Gate is in Abu Dhabi.

In a new book, an architect explores the design boundaries we push to build skyscrapers, such as Capital Gate.

While Italian engineers are toiling over how to reduce the lean of Pisa and avoid collapse, others are locked in a race to get the most leaning building.

According to Al's book, the tower in Pisa is four times larger than the capital gate. The Leaning Tower of Pisa is a four degree incline.

Capital Gate is known as the Leaning Tower of Abu Dhabi and holds the Guinness World Record. The glass building is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the city.

Capital Gate was built with a pre- cambered core. In order to balance the forces out, the building's core was built in a different direction.

Emergency stairs and elevators can be found in the middle of a skyscraper. The heavy walls built around the elevators are meant to support the building, according to Al.

The upper part of the core was leaning in the opposite direction to keep it stable when it was built.

Al said that leaning buildings are usually associated with failure. It shows that they were able to defy nature in a way.

The book was published by W. W.Norton and Company.
