At a royal event held in honor of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee on Friday, all of the members of the royal family were present, but the two couples did not interact with each other.

The service of thanksgiving for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee was held before any of the senior royals. Their appearance marked the couple's first joint royal engagement in over two years since they moved to the US. According to Vanity Fair, they arrived in the UK with their two children.

The two couples sat on opposite sides of the aisle at the event, which was a reunion of the "Fab Four," which they gained during their time working as a unit on the Royal Foundation.

Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice, and their husbands sat on the left side of the aisle next to the duke and duchess.

Photos from the service show Harry joking around with the others on the bench and leaning forward to the next row where Prince Edward and his wife were sitting.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge sat on the right side of the room.

The couple were pictured talking with the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II and her husband. They walked down the steps of the cathedral.

In addition, William and Catherine were seen leaving the event in a procession with Charles and Camilla, who they've made joint appearances with in the past.

The Lord Mayor of London hosted a lunch reception for both senior working royals and extended family. The publication reported that neither Harry nor Markle were present at the event.

Insider's request for comment was not immediately responded to by the representatives for the Duke and the duchess.
