The launch of Blue Origin's space tourist mission will take place on June 4 at the company's West Texas-based launch site. The liftoff is scheduled to take place on 9 a.m. The launch time is 8 a.m. The sun goes down at 1200GMT.

Technical issues and the need for more booster checks on its New Shepard rocket caused the company to stand down from the mission.

Six people will be on a short suborbital spaceflight with the New Shepard booster returning to Earth and the crew capsule parachuting to the surface.

The Blue Origin crew is on a mission.

Evan Dick is a fictional character.

Evan Dick is going to be the first person to fly on a New Shepard vehicle twice. He is a pilot, engineer and investor. He was the managing director of Highbridge Capital Management. He supports the Darwin Foundation through charity or as a volunteer.

The person isKatya Echazarreta.

It will be the first Mexican-born person to visit space. She is a co- host on the CBS show "Mission Unstoppable." She is also a co- host on the internet. The Perseverance Mars rover is one of the space missions she worked on at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. According to Blue Origin, she wants to provide representation for women and minorities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Her seat was sponsored by a non profit organization.

There is a person named "HAMISH HARDING."

A business jet pilot, as well as chair of the business jet broker company Action Aviation, he is also a man of many talents. He broke a round-the-world record for aircraft flying over the north and south poles in a single year. He dove to 36,000 feet in a submarine in 2021.

Victor Hespanha is a person.

Hespanha is from the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. His seat was sponsored by a space agency and he is claiming to be the first person in the world to code. He is the second person from Brazil to fly in space.

Jaison Robinson is a young man.

Jaison Robinson co-founded Dream Variations with his wife Jamie. Robinson lists himself as an avid scuba diver and skydiver with a variety of adventurous activities under his belt, such as breaking the sound barrier in a Mig-29 jet, making Eagle Scout and becoming a finalist in "Survivor: Samoa" in 2009.

Victor Vescovo was killed in the line of duty.

Insight Equity was co- founded by Victor Vescovo. He completed a "Explorer's Grand Slam" which included skiing to the North and South Poles and climbing the highest mountains on the seven continents. According to Blue Origin, he has visited the Challenger Deep 12 times and is a commercially rated multi-engine jet and helicopter pilot. He retired as a commander after 20 years in the U.S. Navy Reserve.

After leaving the capsule, the passengers shared their thoughts about the flight. Jim Kitchen had a bad view of space. It's amazing.

The passengers exited the New Shepard capsule and were greeted by friends and family. Blue Origin'sAudrey Powers flew on a mission in October.

Blue Origin's mission reached an apogee of about 351,000 feet, according to unofficial numbers.

The launch of Blue Origin's mission is less than a minute away.

Just a few minutes before 10 a.m., the launch of Blue Origin will take place. The sun goes down at 1400GMT.

As the delay nears half an hour, the New Shepard vehicle is still in a hold. The company didn't give any information about the hold. The astronauts are inside the capsule.

The New Shepard rocket is being pulled away from the launch site by the gantlet.

Blue Origin is still at T-9 minutes, 59 seconds and holding as flight controllers check the rocket's systems for today's launch.

The launch was stopped at 10 minutes from launch.

There is no reason for the hold yet.

The first six-person crew from Blue Origin sent a message to the passengers of the NS-20. "This is the best ride ever have, but it's way too short," he wrote.

Blue Origin passenger Jim Kitchen will take a small Ukrainian flag to space on New Shepard's launch, along with the passport he used to visit the country, which will be in his flight suit pocket.

Blue Origin's crew has arrived at launch site one to board their spaceship. The West Texas launch site was a hive of activity as they arrived.

The private astronauts are climbing the seven story building to get to the boarding level.

Blue Origin has given the go-ahead for its space tourists to board the New Shepard spaceship.

People will head over in electric trucks. They will have to climb seven flights of stairs and cross a bridge to get to New Shepard.

The sun hasn't yet set at Blue Origin's launch site.

About 20 minutes ahead of the scheduled time, Blue Origin's launch website is live. Blue Origin seems to be aiming for 9:10 a.m. Today is the time for it to be launched.

Blue Origin is going to launch its next space tourist mission from its launch site in West Texas. At 9:30 a.m., the mission will start. You can watch it on Space.com beginning at 9:00 a.m. The sun rises at 1230GMT.

Today's mission will be Blue Origin's fourth crewed flight since it began launching passengers to space in July 2021. Jeff Bezos was one of the first people to be carried by Blue Origin. Bezos has driven past crews to the launch pad before, so he will be on hand for the launch.

Six people will be carried on this mission. They are included.

  • Gary Lai,the chief architect of the New Shepard system, a reusable rocket-capsule combo. He joined Blue Origin in 2004 and was one of its first 20 employees;
  • Sharon Hagle,the founder of SpaceKids Global, a nonprofit that was established in 2015 to encourage students, especially girls, to push forward their STEAM (science, technology, education, art and math) education and pursue careers in space. SpaceKids is also a participant in "Postcards to Space," a program run by Blue Origin's nonprofit organization Club for the Future. 
  • Marc Hagle,husband of Sharon, is president and CEO of the property development corporation Tricor International.
  • Marty Allen, a past CEO and a current angel investor and mentor. He was the former CEO of the California Closet Company, which provides custom home storage ideas, along with Party America, which is now a nationwide retailer.
  • Jim Kitchen,a faculty member of the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, and an entrepreneur.
  • George Nield, president of Commercial Space Technologies, LLC, which seeks to broaden commercial space activities, and the former associate administrator for the Federal Aviation Administration's Office of Commercial Space Transportation.

The other crew members are paying passengers while Gary and George are flying on this mission. Each of the paying passengers has paid for a flight on New Shepard, but Blue Origin has not disclosed how much it costs.
