According to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, the man who escaped law enforcement custody and stabbed a bus driver is now suspected of murdering five people.

The bodies of two adults and three children were found by law enforcement when they responded to a call from a concerned individual.

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice said that Lopez fled from the bus after attacking the officer. He is a suspect in these killings as well.

Lopez stabbed the bus driver's hand as he got out of his handcuffs and took control of the bus and crashed it. He hasn't been captured yet.

The 1999 Chevy truck with the license plate DPV4520 was stolen from the home and they think Lopez is driving it. He might be carrying a weapon.

The area is not far away from Fort Worth. It's not known if the killings happened in a city or county.

Lopez was sentenced to life in prison for capital murder after he was found guilty of killing a man with a pickax.
