Street Fighter 6 was one of the big names at this summer's state of play. The highly anticipated follow-up to its flagship fighting game series was re-released by Capcom with a detailed trailer that showcased the setting, gameplay, and versus mode, as well as appearances from Ryu and Chun- Li. Even though it is shifting the art direction from what Street Fighter fans know, it looks good.

In the first few moments of the trailer, there is a new character named "luke". He is training at a martial arts gym in the city. There is a picture of the Statue of Liberty in the picture. It looks like Street Fighter 6 will have a story mode. It involves some open-world exploration, where the two of them will take on fighters from the series. Other newcomers include Ryu and Chun- Li.

The character models are the same, and the controversial Street Fighter 6 logo is a departure from the usual Street Fighter style. The new trailer shows how new splashes of color can draw eyes. The game has more color and graffiti-inspired art than before.

The new trailer doesn't detail any of the new or returning mechanics, but it does suggest a new style to come. When the last DLC character for Street Fighter 5 was released, the future of the series was referred to as "luke". This appears to be what they meant. FGC commentator voices will be included in the game for the first time in the series.

Sometime in 2023, Street Fighter 6 will be launched. This is the first time that the title has a release window.
