The return of the original cast is one of the most intriguing things about the new movie. Even though they all returned in previous installments of the franchise, they never appeared with the franchise's new heroes. The new cast was very excited about that happening in the film.
io9 was able to sit down with some of the cast of the movie. Over video chat, we talked to Mamoudou Athie about his role in the movie, which sees him spending a lot of time with the characters, and in-person, we spoke to new addition DeWanda Wise and the lead actors. We had to ask what it was like to be on screen with those legends, as we have seen in the trailer, all three of those characters end up on screen with the original cast.
The experience was very similar to being a seasoned Jurassic vet. You can watch the clip here.
That is not the most precious answer ever. It is similar to my reaction when I talked to Sam Neill, which will be on the site soon. All of the different people on the set were marveled at by her. You can see a clip.
