Rodgers knows his playing days are numbered.

On the QB Talk special that aired after The Match, the reigning two-time NFL Most Valuable Player said he thinks about retirement all the time.

You are 100 percent when you commit. The grind wears on you a little more as you get older. The easiest part is the football. The joy is that. You think about life after football when you see the other stuff. Tommy set the bar so high that I can definitely see the end of his career.

There was a lot of speculation after the Packers' loss to the 49ers in the playoffs.

Rodgers said he would make a decision before the beginning of the franchise-tag period in late February.

I want to be very sensitive to the fact that my decision affects other people's decisions. He said he would make a decision sooner than later.

Rodgers signed a three-year contract extension that will make him one of the highest paid players in the league.

Compared to how long Rodgers dragged things out, this was a quick decision. The 10-time Pro Bowler and his team agreed to a number of conditions that addressed some of the issues he had.

While the Packers got Rodgers back for the upcoming season, the offense he plays in looks very different from what we've seen in the past.

The Packers traded Davante Adams to the Raiders in exchange for a 2020 fifth-round pick. They lost another player in free agency.

The trio of Randall, Allen and Christian are expected to be the top three by the end of the century.

On December 2nd, Rodgers will be 39 years old. At this point in his career, he has not slowed down. Over the past two seasons, the five-time All- Pro has thrown for 8,414 yards and 85 touchdown.

The Packers were the top seed in the playoffs in both 2020 and 2021.
