Work? Worked shoot? You tell us.

It doesn't matter if you think it's a work, a shoot, or a combination of those words that make wrestling fans cringe. The wrestling world talks about MJF and AEW. A mile long swarm of bees wouldn't produce this type of buzz.

It is part of being a fan to debate the various aspects and clues and come up with your own theories and storylines. It definitely feels like this all started as a genuine complaint from MJF about his contract, but has mushroomed into an intricate, cacophonous, storyline with MJF not just blurring the lines between what's real and what's in story, what They were pissing all over them.

There was a lot of rumors and reports about MJF no-showing the whole show but still doing his job and the actual no-showing of a meet and greet with fans. We know that the higher-ups knew what he was going to do even if they didn't know everything.

After painting it, they went to black and didn't mention it again for the rest of the show. Punk had to chase MJF off after only being seen by those in the arena. If MJF has truly left the reservation, wouldn't his microphone have been cut? It is unlikely that Khan would have been caught so off-guard.

It was too similar to Punk's promo to not think there is a plan. There is nothing that MJF can do to change the way AEW is run. He has provided two or three of the best storylines the company has produced, but he has never wrestled for a title. The money that MJF wants and deserves is earmarked for those with a bigger name who have barely been around, compared to the time that AEW spent.

You can see for yourself. Ask if MJF didn't hit every note.

CM Punk is one of the top wrestlers in the world.

Mentioning other companies, what fans think makes a great wrestler and what he thinks makes a great wrestler are all reasons fans are incorrect. Punk has been placed in the same role as the wrestler. He beat someone but had to enter another match because Punk said he wanted something on the card. Punk won the title because he is CM Punk. He sees the elevation of wrestlers who worked their way up the card from the company's start and he has seen it stomped out by an invader. Not just an invader, but a wrestler from the company. He is going to make the rest of us choke on it as well.

He is also threatening to leave. Begging to go somewhere else. His road is blocked by imports who used to be in New York. The man in charge, Khan, doesn't think he will ever see him the way he should be seen because he's been influenced by Punk or Bryan Danielson. MJF is going to take it away because Khan doesn't understand what he has.

It is clear that Khan would be crazy to let him go even if MJF were serious. Who isn't watching to see where this is going? To get out of his contract, he would have to go crazy and not show up at all. Naomi has proven that doing that only makes you popular. If he isn't booked like the top star that he's proven to be, he'll force his way to the top of the card. He won't be forgotten. Punk started his title reign within the year he started his pipe bomb on the company. He was able to get what he wanted.

Punk has portrayed himself as a bastion of what pro wrestling is supposed to be, while MJF, Eddie Kingston, and Hangman Page have screamed that he is only using that as sheep's clothing. He's being painted as a 400 pound gorilla on the roster and keeping everyone else from it.

It is in MJF's mind whether that is true or not. MJF points out to Punk that he has become all that he hates. If MJF got a new contract a long time ago, it wouldn't be a surprise. He might be fired tomorrow if he doesn't at all. It is possible to go anywhere, but you can't ignore it. Isn't the point of it all?
