A group of high school cheerleaders posed with a mannequin head they dubbed their mascot, which they nicknamed "Kareem," according to a report.
According to NBC Bay Area, the incident took place in California's East Bay Area and was captured on camera by an account called Black Bay Area.
The posting is being looked at by the school district. "That is not something that we can accept, nor will we tolerate," said the superintendent.
The posts came as a surprise because he said the school district had been expanding sensitivity training.

According to ABC 7 News, the social media posts came from the cheer stunt team at California High. The all-white team poses with a mannequin head that appears to be used for classes in the field of hair and beauty.
The lack of representation is a problem according to one area parent. She wants the squad to be more than just a group of people with a doll head.
It is possible that they will be the first to do it because there is no representation that looks like them on the cheerleading squad.
