The White House on Thursday announced a new round of sanctions against Russian government officials and elites, including billionaire Alexey Mordashov, chairman of the largest steel and mining company in Russia.

The White House says that God Nisanov is a billionaire real estate developer who is close to Russian officials.

Imperial Yachts, a company that caters to Putin's inner circle, as well as the president of the United Aircraft Corporation, a state-owned firm that produces military aircraft, will be targeted by the Biden Administration.

A total of $18.6 billion. Forbes estimates that Mordashov is the 81st richest person in the world.

Mordashov is one of a handful of Russian billionaires who have publicly voiced their opposition to the war. Other billionaires who have called for an end to the war include Ukrainian native Mikhail Fridman, the founder of Russia's largest private bank, Alfa Bank, as well as others.
