Casting notices for Peacock's upcoming car combat/comedy series, "Twisted Metal" continue to come in with some regularity, and one question has arisen for fans of the game franchise: Who would play the series mascot, a murder clown? Will Arnett will be the voice of the show's version of the character, who is as emotional as he is cunning.
Since it was first announced, the project has been attached to by both Arnett and Forman, with Forman having acquired the rights to the game series for their production company. Being the voice of a murder clown in a video game feels like a natural landing spot for the gravelly actor. The skeleton was going to be on the motorcycle.
The cast is shaping up to be stronger than a TV adaptation of the Twisted Metal games would need to be. Beatriz will play a badass car thief while Church will play a villain. Campbell will be playing a character named "Raven".
We have to rethink our predictions for what Twisted Metal will reveal at the end of the season because of the Sweet Tooth reveal. We don't know if a slow pan over to a scuzzy long haired dude who acts like the world's snarkiest genie is going to have the narrative.
