A jury returned a verdict on Wednesday after a six-week trial in which Heard was accused of defaming Johnny Depp.

The jury awarded Johnny Depp fifteen million dollars in his suit against Heard, but the judge reduced the damages due to state law.

When one of his attorneys claimed that Heard's allegations of domestic abuse were a hoax, the jury found him liable for defamation.

Heard was ordered to pay $2 million in damages.

The trial of Heard and Depp attracted a lot of attention on social media.

She thinks that social media had an effect on the jury even though they were told not to read anything about the case.

There is no way they could not have been influenced by it. "It was really, really bad," he said.

The jury did not believe Heard because she was portrayed as a bad person by the legal team.
