The first of four World Cup warm-up matches for the United States will take place in June, and Christian Pulisic was critical of the number of fans in Cincinnati.

It was a great win and we are really happy. We got that early goal and it was a really strong performance.

It is nice to be back in America and playing again.

Haji Wright made his senior national team debut and scored on a second-half penalty kick. Wright repaid the faith with a goal after he was given the ball by Pulisic, who normally takes spot kicks for the U.S.

Haji and I go back a long way. I was glad he scored because he said he was confident and I wanted him to take it.

The 15th-ranked Americans won for the first time in four matches against 24th-ranked Morocco, which is preparing for the November tournament in Qatar.

The U.S. extended its home winning streak to 24 matches, two shy of the team record, while wearing rainbow numbers for LGBTQ Pride Month.

The U.S. will face off against England, Iran and the winner of the World Cup playoff between Wales and Ukraine in Group B play.
