In the next edition of The Match, football and golf fans will come together in Las Vegas to see Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers team up against Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen.

For the first time, the exhibition will not feature any professional golfers. Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and others have participated in the past. The pros will be watching the big-time quarterbacks go head-to-head at Wynn Las Vegas.

Some of the bigger revelations from The Match can be found here.

Mahomes struggles early, grabs a beer

Rodgers won the first and Brady missed an eagle putt to lose the second as the two teams were 2 down after two holes.

He showed off the silver bullet aluminum bottle as he said he was going to wait until the fourth hole to crack open a beer, but getting down early caused him to reach for some swing juice.

J.J. Watt asked how many he would need to get his confidence up. If he drinks too much, it will have the opposite effect.

Josh Allen trolls Brady

Tom Brady asked the social networking site to remove his picture from the 2000 NFL draft, where he is shirtless with long shorts on. Allen gave Brady a golf ball with a picture on the side of it. Allen said he would use the ball.

Brady showed his ball with a picture of the trophy on it on the first hole. Brady showed Allen a picture of his seven Super Bowls and asked if he had ever seen one before.

"Josh, have you seen one of these?" 🤣

Charles Barkley gets in on the action

The TV reporter asked Rodgers what the wager would be to let Charles cut off his man bun. If they win, Rodgers asked if he would get some money and grow his hair out.

You wear it well, but I don&t like man buns, I have to give you credit. It is only because you are a great quarterback. It would not work if you were just like a plumbing professional. You can get away with stuff because you are like Rodgers.

Rodgers will let him chop off his man bun if he beats him in a round on the 18th green. If Rodgers is the winner, Barkley will give $25,000 to his favorite charity.

The trash talk started early

Rodgers said that he and Brady came into the NFL when trash talk was real. The trash talk has gone downhill since football players are friendly.

When we started in the NFL, there was real trash talk between Brady and I. Rodgers said that there was a lot of good s--- talk and we knew who they were around the league. When you talk about Josh Allen trying to talk to me and Tom, a couple old-school, grizzled vets, c'mon.

Four days of coverage at 28 events with four feeds each day is included in the 4,300-plus hours of live coverage. You can access replays, originals and more. You can stream on the internet.

It looks like we will be in for a treat if the early evidence is correct.

Brady started making fun of himself on social media when he posted an edited picture of his son hitting a golf ball. The edited version had Brady's son's head on Allen's.

Brady has a team of writers that take care of his script, according to Allen and Mahomes. Brady will not be able to hang with the younger guys throughout the event if he gets off script.

Mahomes played off of that joke on social media, retweeting an ad from Brady and saying he needs to talk to the writers of the joke.

I need to talk to whoever wrote this joke... 😡😂 https://t.co/hjYEJ1gdd2

Why not take a shot at DeChambeau? In what was supposed to be a 12-hole exhibition of their own, the two players went one-on-one against each other.

Good luck to everyone in this match, and remind anyone who forgot that he only needed nine to beat DeChambeau.

Have fun boys, let me know how the last 3 holes play🍿 #CapitalOnesTheMatch https://t.co/JYJQILOThI

If the trash talk continues from his team, Brady will need to hope the play backs it up and he can win against the younger quarterbacks. Brady was reminded by Allen that Father Time is perfect.
