The finished version of Mercedes' hybrid hypercar is finally going to be shown. The Mercedes-AMG One now has a Formula 1-derived, 1,063HP hybrid powertrain with a 1.6-liter V6 engine and four electric motors. The result is high responsiveness across the rev range, sustained boost pressure and strong Torque even at low engine speeds. The advantages of both gas and electric power plants are promised by The One.

That means brisk performance without using up too much gas. The combined fuel consumption is 27MPG, but you will reach 62MPH in just 2.9 seconds. For context, Mercedes SUVs like the GLE 53 are not as efficient. The 800-volt architecture helps you charge quickly from the gas engine in race mode, and you can drive 11 miles on electric power. The custom seven-speed manual is built to keep the engine running at peak performance.

The interior is the same as it was in the concept, with the exception of the camera-linked screen that replaces the rear mirror. There will be microfiber cloth, carbon fiber and nappa leather.

The first customers should get their cars in the second half of the century. All of the production models have been spoken for despite the price tag.

Mercedes-Benz GLC hybrid

You are more likely to drive the equally new GLC, which is built solely around hybrid power. The updated SUV has up to 74.5 miles of pure electric driving, and will prioritize EV mode for long urban trips and other routes. The refreshed GLC should reach European dealers in the fall.
