The Bills, Sabres, and National Lacrosse League's Bandits have raised more than $1 million through the sale of Choose Love T-shirts.

A shooting at a Tops Friendly Markets in a predominantly Black neighborhood killed 10 people and injured three.

The T-shirts with the teams logos were made available with a donation. The Buffalo Together Community Response Fund is used to address other needs in the community related to the mass killing.

Players, coaches and staff from all three local professional teams wore shirts May 18 that said "help out in the community" after the shooting.

Josh Allen thinks that we should start adopting the motto "Choose Love" as a country. It was disgusting, despicable and there were so many different words you could use that none of them were nice.

We are here to lighten people's days and try to help move past this and share the grief with our community so that we can hold that with them.

The site was visited by former Bills and Sabres players, as well as the owners of the team, Kim and Terry Pegula.

The Buffalo Bills Foundation and the NFL Foundation made a $400,000 donation to the Buffalo Together Community Response Fund last month. The Bills Social Justice Fund has received a donation of $50,000 from the Goodells and their wife, Jane, as well as a donation of $264,000 from the Thomas family.

The Bills acknowledge the importance of their work in helping the community and those affected for the future.

We are here to listen to what we need to do. Taiwan Jones said last month that they have an open ear to hear from the community how they can help. It's easy for us to be here. The hard part is thinking of a long-term plan.
