On November 18th, the Pokémon adventure will launch. The release date for Pokémon Violet and Scarlet was revealed by Nintendo through a new trailer. The games were supposed to launch in the second half of 2022. Along with the release date, the trailer also shows off the new professors, a pair of legendaries, as well as the ability to play with up to four people.
The series has been trying to shift to a more open-world structure after Sword and Shield and Arceus. Nintendo describes the new games as an adventure where players can explore an open world where the various towns and cities have no borders and blend into the wilderness.
The delay of the sequel to Breath of the Wild has left a big gap in the Switch lineup. Nintendo's upcoming games include Mario Strikers: Battle League on June 10th, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 on July 29th, and Splatoon 3 on September 9th.
