Passengers flying to Greece no longer need to wear a face covering as the country has relaxed its mask mandate.
The European Union Aviation Safety Agency and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control have recommended that face masks should no longer be required in airports.
The requirement to wear face masks in restaurants, bars and cafes has been removed, but masks are still required in hospitals, care facilities and on public transport.
The Health Minister of Greece said that masks are worn in hospitals, nursing homes and urban transport.
It is only compulsory to wear a mask on public transport and in hospitals and care facilities for the elderly from June 1. There is no requirement to wear a mask in all other places.
Travelers visiting Greece don't need to take any Covid tests, show proof of vaccination or show proof of recovery to enter, regardless of vaccination status.
