According to the report, Musk has taken a hardline stance against his employees working from home. In an email to the company's executive staff, the CEO said that remote work was no longer acceptable and that employees had to spend at least 40 hours a week in the office.

Musk did not deny the authenticity of the email, and wrote that anyone who disagrees with a policy of coming into the office should pretend to work somewhere else.

In his email, the CEO said that he would be willing to consider requests to work remotely, but that they would have to be exceptional. He said that working 40 hours in person is less than what factory workers are asked to do.

The CEO claimed in an email that his history of almost living in the factory was the reason for the company's survival. It has been a while.

After the global Pandemic forced many companies to rapidly introduce remote working policies, many are now assessing how they should bring their employees back into the office, or whether they even need to in the first place. Apple is testing a hybrid approach that involves employees coming into the office for just part of the week.
