  • Samsung has begun updating its Galaxy devices with the June Android security patch.
  • The first device to receive the update was the Galaxy Tab S7+ in Europe.
  • The Galaxy S21 series has also begun receiving the June update in Europe, notably ahead of the Galaxy S22.

Monthly security patches are often released ahead of time. The company has already updated a couple of devices with the June update. Although, oddly, the S22 wasn't part of the initial roll out.

The first device to receive the June update was the 5G variant of the Tab S7+, which was one of the best tablets of 2020. According to SamMobile, the update has begun to arrive in more than a few European countries. It is likely to get the update sooner than later. The update comes with a new version of the software.

The June update patch is available for the S21 series. The update is rolling out in Europe, but only in Germany. It is likely to expand very soon to other countries and regions.

The update for the S22 doesn't seem to have arrived yet. Typically, the latest and greatest devices from the company are updated before they trickle down to older models and devices. We expect the update to the flagship phones and tablets to be pushed soon.
