A New Doc Illuminates the Man Behind the Ghostbusters Theme

Fran Strine explores the riveting true story of the man who wrote and recorded the global smash hit song Ghostbusters, which became a universally recognized pop culture phenomenon. Strine was granted unprecedented access to reveal his never-before-told life story, from overcoming nearly impossible odds to achieving his dream of getting his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In Who You Gonna Call?, Clive Davis and other music legends share what it was like to work with a man who is now known as a legend.

The movie and its theme song will play a big part in the success of Ghostbusters, as you can see from the trailer. You have to assume that the lawsuit about the song sounded too much like "I Want a New Drug" will be discussed. June 7 is when Who You Gonna Call? arrives.
