The Memorial Day weekend opening of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End was the previous record, but Top Gun: Maverick broke it.

According to Deadline and Variety, the film made $160.5 million from Friday to Monday, but Box Office Mojo puts the total gross at $156 million.

It's not clear how long the movie will last, but for other movies in the weekend's all-time top ten list, their opening weekends accounted for 32% to 52% of their total box-office receipts.
