Due to Memorial Day, it was a relatively quiet tech news day, but we did get a glimpse at a new DeLorean. The company is making an EV. The four-seater Alpha5 should arrive with a 100kWh battery pack, capable of 0 to 60MPH, and a price of $175,000.

The Texas company that bought the rights to the name and spare parts will build it. The same studio that sketched the original DeLorean is responsible for the gullwing doors, futuristic profile and overall design. There will be more details later today.

Google Pixel 7 prototype reputedly shows up on eBay

Another major Google device leak.

Someone tried to sell a Pixel 7 on eBay after a prototype was left at a restaurant. The eBay listing for what looked like a prototype of a new phone popped up, but now it's gone.

The images don't reveal much more than we already know. The front of the camera looks similar to the one on the front of the phone. The rear camera bar has two cameras. It will be a while before the phones go on sale, despite the fact that they were announced at I/O.

iOS 16 will reportedly include always-on display features

But only for future iPhones.

According to Mark Gurman in his latest Power On newsletter, the company will have a fair amount of information to share at the upcoming WWDC. Gurman says the next version of Apple's mobile operating system will include support for an always-on display. You don't need to wake the iPhone to see notifications and other glanceable information.
