England forward Fran Kirby has said she will need to train in a safe way in order to be fit for Euro 2022, after more than two months out.
Kirby has not appeared for England since February because of fatigue, which will keep her out for the foreseeable future.
She was an unused substitute in the FA Cup final.
The 28-year-old said that he feels good and hopes to get some training in.
Kirby added: "I have to try hard but also do the right things to make sure things don't happen again. I know I have to perform to be able to get back into the squad but also do it in a safe way.
I know what I can do with my body now. I told the England head coach and the coaching staff that I would be honest and that I would know if I was not right.
Kirby was one of 28 players who met at St George's Park on Monday to begin preparations.
England will play the first of three warm-up games against Belgium on June 16th, before the final squad is named in June.
The Lionesses will play the Netherlands on June 24th and then play Switzerland on June 30th in Switzerland.
Austria will play their first game of the Euro in July.
Kirby said it has been an interesting few months for him but he is happy to be here.
It was very difficult. It was hard to take because I have had previous experiences with illness. I dealt with football and training well at the time, I was not really interested in it.
You lose a lot of stuff. I wasn't able to walk the dog for five minutes so it was nice to do that again. Hopefully I can keep pushing.
