Sky in Italy reports that Inter Milan will meet Romelu Lukaku's lawyer on Tuesday to inquire about the feasibility of a potential move back to Serie A.
In a controversial interview with Sky in Italy last December, Lukaku admitted his desire to return to Inter in the future, after moving to Chelsea for 97 million dollars last summer.
Giuseppe Marotta, the CEO of Inter, says the club are in no rush over the return of Romelu Lukaku, but still want to re-sign him this summer.
They would not be able to match the fee they received for the Belgian player.

Despite finishing the season as the club's top scorer with 15 goals, Romelu didn't justify his hefty price tag this season.
Inter are in the market for a forward this summer and Marotta said he hopes that Dybala will sign for them after he leaves the Bianconeri.

The takeover of the club by a group led by Todd Boehly has given the club's summer recruitment plans the go-ahead.
The Blues have a verbal agreement with Sevilla defender Jules Kounde, with the Spanish club preferring a quick deal as they aim to balance their books before June 30.
There is optimism that a deal for Kounde will get done this time, despite the fact that talks collapsed last year.
Presnel Kimpembe is one of the central defensive options that Thomas Tuchel prefers. Among those being looked at are Jose Gimenez and Josko Gvardiol.
The expectation is that Aurelien Tchouameni will end up at Real Madrid. Ibrahim Sangare is a PSV player.

It was surprising to hear Thomas Tuchel talk of the need for a rebuild this summer, as he did after his side ended their season with a home win overWatford. The head coach&s squad has been exposed to issues due to the long campaign, which came out of the blue when they won the European Championship in 2021.
Tuchel has had to pull together a group of players that were signed by six different managers. With Todd Boehly now in charge, the time has come to back Tuchel and allow him to build his own squad capable of launching a title challenge.
The work must begin in the defence, where the departing Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen must be replaced with two quality centre-backs. The time may have come to replace Cesar Azpilicueta with a more dynamic right-back. The reliance on Marcos Alonso cost the Blues this season and with the left-back also said to be keen to go back to Spain, signing a replacement should be on the to-do list.
In the middle of the field, there are decisions to be made on the futures of N'Golo Kante and Jorginho, who are in their 30s and have just one year left on their contracts. They can't leave for free, so they have to decide if they want to sign a new deal or go for a fee. Even if Kante stays, a younger option in the Frenchman's mould should be sought given the amount of time he has been unavailable in recent seasons.
Attack is the area of the team that received the most investment in recent windows, but the Blues shouldn't be put off from looking to strengthen their goal scoring options if an opportunity presents itself. The last player to score 20 goals in a season for the club wasEden Hazard, who left three years ago, so there is room for improvement in that area.
