monkeypox

There are growing cases of monkeypox in the U.S. and health officials might have found the first cases that involve person-to-person contact within our borders.

Four more monkeypox cases have been found in the U.S., with one in Colorado being looked at as a close contact of another person who had the disease.

A person who had been around a patient with an infectious disease was found in California.

As you know, 24 countries around the globe have seen spikes in cases, with the World Health Organization upgrading the crisis threat level to moderate.

The first case of monkeypox in the United States this year was detected in Massachusetts when a man returned from Canada and tested positive.

Monkeypox can be transmitted from an animal to a human. It can also come from the preparation of a game.

Skin-to-skin contact and droplets are what transmit the disease.

It never ends.
