Gov. Abbott announces that an anonymous donor covered funeral expenses for all Uvalde victims

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced Friday that an anonymous donor would cover the funeral costs of the Uvalde shooting victims.

Nineteen of the 21 people killed at Robb Elementary School were children. The Uvalde shooting was one of the worst in US history.

An anonymous individual donated $175,000 to ensure that families could pay their funeral costs.

Abbott said during a press conference that they will ensure that the resources get into the right hands so that no family will have to worry.

Many of the family members of the victims of the tragedy have turned to the internet for help.

The husband of a teacher who died after shielding her students from the attack raised more than two million dollars for the cause.
