President Joe Biden and his wife were confronted by protesters on Sunday as they paid respects to the victims of the May 24 attack at Robb Elementary School.

CNN reported that protesters yelled at the president as he left the church.

Biden replied that they would.

The police response to the school shooting will be investigated by the Department of Justice. At least a dozen times, law enforcement officials have changed their story about what happened during the attack.

In the wake of the shooting, Biden called for renewed restrictions on assault weapons. There is no federal legislation yet, and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has not endorsed new state laws in the wake of the shooting.

The White House did not reply immediately.
