Lucasfilm and Disney+ released the trailer for the second season of the hit animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch at the end of the Star Wars Celebration. It continues the tale of a band of clones that are on a journey to be obsolete as the Empire grows.
Omega and Tech were shown on a beach trying to get their ship to take off, but the arrival of crab-like creatures made it hard for them to take off. The new season will start with a short time jump, and our heroes will all be sporting new looks to show for it. The trailer shows that the Batch will have a hard time finding a place in the galaxy. They will be facing even bigger threats, but will find at least one potential new friend to make in the form of CommanderCody, who we will finally find out what he has been up to.
We were left with a lot of questions after last season's finale and we are beginning to see a bit more clarity. We want to find out what Nala Se is up to at Mount Tantiss, which is bringing in a significant locale from the old Star Wars expanded universe. The Omega and the group ran into familiar faces like Fennec Shand, who was recently seen in live-action on The Book of Boba Fett. As the Clone Crew's stories intersect with the Star Wars galaxy at large, I'm curious who else will pop up.
Disney+ will feature The Bad Batch this fall.
