A posed photo of the cast on stage.

Star Wars fans love Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau. Two days after showing fans the first ever footage of The Mandalorian season 3, the pair decided to do more. They found themselves on stage at Star Wars Celebration again, but this time they didn't show the same footage to a new audience. They showed more.

The producers of The Mandalorian brought the goods during the panel at Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, CA. Rick Famuyiwa, who directed the first season of The Mandalorian, is now an executive producer in season 3, and Carl Weathers, who directed the second season, is likely to return as director. Friday's news that Bryce Dallas Howard will be back to direct in season 3 is this.

When the first footage was shown on Thursday, it was obvious that Bokatan was going to play a huge role this year. In the new footage, we can see many more Mandalorians.

You can read about the previous footage here. It began with a Mandalorian character that looked exactly like Paz Vizsla, but it couldn't be because he's dead. Fans speculated that this was for Grogu, as the armorer held a new Mandalorian helmet in blue and light blue. A shot of a Grogu flying upside down, as well as a bunch of Mandalorians on a ship dropping down into a battle. There are a few shots of multiple Mandalorians together. The Armorer walks into a light room and smashes some bad guys with her hammer. Grogu is watching fireworks. Three creatures are fixing something. Yes, there is a person named Babus Frik. A ship flies through some clouds and ends up on the ground. There is a white colored protocol droid. Mando is sleeping with Grogu in his lap. There is a shot of Mando and Grogu with R5-D4 sitting in the back. At first, it looks like someone cut a Death Star in half in a very dark, grey world. It is not a Death Star. We think these are the remnants of Mandalore.

There is little doubt that this is the biggest season yet in terms of scope and action. Mando and Grogu have had a Star Wars evolution according to the man. They have each sacrificed something to be with one another. In the case of Mando, it's his Mandalorian identity since he took off his helmet, and in the case of Grogu, it's Jedi Training and a lightsaber. That is going to play a big role in the future.
